Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

Travelers to Athens from outside of Georgia will fly in to Atlanta's Hartsfield - Jackson International Airport.

Groome Transportation is the best option for shuttle services from the airport, with hourly airport shuttles to and from Athens. Groome Transportation will drop you off at any of the conference hotels on arrival in Athens, and also departs from the hotels for the return trip to the airport. It is recommended to reserve a spot on the shuttle before you arrive in Atlanta.

From the airport, it is about a 90 minute drive (add 15-50 minutes during rush hour) into Athens by car. The most common modes are car rental and shuttle. There are many car rental options from the airport, and this is the most popular option for most visitors.

Parking

Parking is available at each of the conference hotels, but parking on campus is very limited and not practical for conference participants.

Campus parking is free on Saturday of the conference, but campus parking deck fees will be charged on Friday (charges are hourly, with a $10 minimum).

The most convenient parking spaces for the conference are the Hull Street deck and the Tate Student Center deck.
